- State eligibility decisions, weekly benefit calculations, and payments.
- Work-search requirements, identity checks, hearings, and appeals under applicable state procedures.
- Many American Job Center and local employment services.
Where to go for an unemployment claim
Use CareerOneStop's official state finder or the state workforce agency identified in your claim notice. Do not send claimant documents or appeal papers to ETA unless an official instruction specifically directs you there.
