Does a VA address change update every VA benefit?

No. A VA.gov profile update reaches several services, but VA lists programs that keep separate contact records.

Direct answer

The profile change covers VA health care communications, disability compensation, pension, education benefits, claims and appeals, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It does not currently update home loan benefits, life insurance, CHAMPVA, or the Foreign Medical Program.

What to do

Update the mailing or home address in your verified VA.gov profile. Then review VA’s current exclusions and contact the department responsible for every excluded service you use. Save the confirmation for each change.

When the answer can change

VA may change which systems share profile information. A separate state veterans agency, the Department of Defense, USPS, and other government agencies maintain their own records. Updating VA does not update those organizations.
